Housing
Koonibba manages the tenancy and maintenance of five houses that they own themselves and have an agreement with Housing SA to manage an additional 45 houses.
Municipal Services
Koonibba workforce manages the hard waste facility, provides dust control management, flood mitigation, a farm-style fire service and pest and weed control.
Indigenous Women’s Network
Koonibba facilitates service providers and others to provide support and information for womens-related issues.
Youth Development Program
Koonibba employs an after-school manager to provide educational and nutritional programs including camps and fitness initatives.
Sports and Recreational Program
Linked to the youth programs, this program offers additional emphasis on connecting youth with local sports competitions, such as in netball and football.
Nutritional Program
Nutritional support, information, pre-school breakfast and lunches are provided from a dedicated section of the community hall, with the local store also committing to selling affordable nutritional products.
Primary School including child-care, kindergarten
Pre-school, kindergarten and primary school, plus 20-placement childcare, are provided by Koonibba Community Corporation, who are also the school parents committee.
Lutheran Church
Whilst there are no weekly services, the historic and well-maintained church at Koonibba is used for christenings, weddings, funerals, and once per year for the ANZAC service.
Health Clinic
On a weekly basis the Ceduna Koonibba Aboriginal Health Service provides a primary health care service and an environmental health service.
